RAFAL MANUFACTURES POWER- AND DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS OF VARIOUS SIZES

Power- and distribution transformers are used to convert voltage and current. In 2009 Rafal started manufacturing distribution transformers for the electric distribution grid. The first transformers, along with prefabricated concrete foundations, were three phase 75 kVA, 10,500/400 V, were delivered in June 2009. The transformers were designed for (2) three phase 24 kV, 250 A primary, and 400 V secondary.

The transformer production is according to the following standards:  ÍST EN 61936-1:2010, ÍST EN 60076-4:2002, ÍST EN 50522:2010, ÍST EN 50464-1:2007.

Since 2010 Rafal manufactures the following standard transformer types:

The transformers are delivered either with (2) three phase 24 kV inputs or (3) three phase 24 kV inputs, 250 A or 630 A, and a 400V distribution cabinet.

Rafal also manufactures power- and distribution transformer with other specifications, as required by the customer.
